Down the Rabbit Hole

Streamers and Content Creators - Is quality STILL better than quantity for streams and content?

Moorph Season 2 Episode 13

In general, quality is more important than quantity in both short-form and long-form video content. A high-quality video that engages and informs the audience is more likely to be successful, regardless of its length, than a large number of poorly made videos. It's crucial to focus on creating content that is well-produced, visually appealing, and provides value to the viewers.

Some studies suggest that the average quality of social media posts has declined in recent years due to the increase in low-effort content such as short-form videos, memes, reposts, and clickbait.  In general, the quality of social media posts is influenced by many factors, including the platform, the audience, and the goals of the creator and, to some extent, the fact that content creation has become oversaturated in recent years. With the widespread availability of technology and the ease of access to social media platforms, almost anyone can create and share content online. This has led to a significant increase in the volume of content being produced, which has made it more challenging for individual pieces of content to stand out and gain attention.

However, while the volume of content may be oversaturated, the demand for high-quality, engaging, and informative content remains strong. This means that there is still an opportunity for creators who are able to produce content that resonates with their audience and stands out from the crowd.
